Thieman Family Reunion 2008

July 11th-13th
Andy and Amy were coming into town with their kiddos to visit. The Thieman Family Reunion was planned to be held at Mohican State Park. Mom reserved the Malabarm Farm Hostel for the whole family to vacation in together. We looked forward to this trip all year long.
This is the Malabar Farm State Park Hostel we stayed in.
In the rolling countryside of Richland County, Louis Bromfield, Pulitzer Prize-winning author and dedicated conservationist, created his dream -- Malabar Farm. Inspired by his love of the land, Bromfield restored the rich fertility of the farmlands and preserved the beauty of the woodlands. He built a 32-room country home, where his family, friends and neighbors could share the pleasure of life on the farm.

We saw several signs for the Mount Jeez Overlook. We joked all weekend about going up on the overlook and everyone saying "Jeez!" We went up at sunset and it was beautiful.
I told the boys (Parker, Dylan and Kyle) to "show me their guns". Which usually means "show me your muscles." They posed like this to be funny.

The Lake Grandchildren and Mar
Mar is never happier than when surrounded by her grandchildren.

The whole gang that stayed in the hostel....Mar, Jeff and Denise and their family,
Maria and Jonathan and their family, Andy and Amy and their family, My mom's sister Barb and Uncle Steve, My mom's other sister Vicky and her daughter Amanda, my Grandpa Newbold, and my cousin Amy and her girls.
